about anne

a quick introduction

I’m Anne. Since 2018, I’ve been designing and building websites and brand identities from one studio — from first sketch to live design. It started in 2012 with my own blog and the discovery that templates never quite felt the way I’d intended. So I taught myself to code, for as long as it took to get it right. What seemed like a detour became my craft: design and technology.

Outside the studio, I live with my husband and two boys in a house we’re renovating ourselves. Which is actually exactly how a web design and branding process works: building layer by layer toward something that feels right, fits like a glove, and truly aligns with who you are.

Completely. WordPress is open source — your site runs on your hosting under your domain name. No vendor lock-in, no monthly “platform fees.” You can move your hosting or keep building on it yourself at any time.

Yes. At delivery, you’ll get access to an extensive Studio Solveig knowledge base covering all the elements you’ll want to update yourself — texts, photos, blog posts, prices, calendar. For structural changes, you can always come to me.

No problem. WordPress scales with you. Whether you want to add a course platform in a year, open a webshop, or launch a membership — the foundation I build can handle all of it.

Yes — the entire process runs online (Zoom, email). I work with clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, and beyond.
